Private Music Lessons
The view from the stage is always better... Be a player!
LESSON FEES & PAYMENTS
There are NO registration fees, set-up fees, or contracts.
Half Hour Private Lessons: $30 per week
One Hour Private Lessons: $55 per week
For consistency, each music lesson is scheduled for the same day and time each week based upon student preference and teacher availability. At the beginning of each month, students are required to pay for the number of weekly lessons in that month. All monthly lesson payments must be paid in full by the first lesson of each month. One make-up lesson is allowed per month, provided 24-hour notice is given. For those who cannot commit to a weekly lesson, we offer a "pay-as-you-go" rate of $35 per half hour lesson or $65 per hour lesson.
As with all studies, consistent home practice time is strongly suggested, usually a minimum of one half hour daily. To encourage learning, we also have an "open door policy" allowing current students safe and quiet practice time in any unused lesson room when available. If necessary, our teachers are always available for encouragement, lesson clarification, and assistance to achieve the ongoing goals of music education.
Our program is comparable to any tuition-paid institution in that prepayments are non-refundable. Educators Music gladly accepts lesson payments by cash, check, or all major credit and debit cards.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Both the student’s and the teacher’s time is valuable. Therefore same-day cancellations and no-shows will constitute a forfeit of that lesson. However, one missed lesson per month will be allowed for any reason provided 24 hour notice is given, as long as the student reschedules this lesson within the same calendar month. All other missed lessons will be at the student’s expense. In the unlikely event of a teacher’s absence, the lesson will be rescheduled or credited. If severe inclement weather forces the store to close, credits or makeups will be allowed. Any holidays or other store closings will be publicized well in advance so you can adjust your schedule.
We hope these policies will maintain an organized and professional learning environment. Our overriding goal is to provide a high-quality music education to every student and preserve the excitement, fun, personal gratification, and ongoing sense of fulfillment that comes from playing a musical instrument and to provide skills that will positively influence the rest of their lives.
